• To prevent cream or gravy from dripping from the server, dab under the spout, a little butter or margarine. This will prevent the drip.

• Preserve the freshness of cucumbers from the garden by storing them immersed in water unpeeled in a covered container in the refrigerator. Rinse them first. Use within four days.

• Always pour hot liquids in a direction away from your body - such as into a strainer placed in a sink. As a SeaChef, I learned this the hard way!

• I will be preparing the chicken breast over bed of mushroom recipe but will be ommiting the wine - what do you suggest using as a non alcohol substitute? Thank you
